I have been asked if it is possible, without having a website, to send an email without disclosing the name of the sender. Obviously, using a website, an email could be sent from info@yoursite.com. But in the absence of a site, is there a script, program, or other method to do this?

Just sign up for a hotmail or yahoo mail account. Send your message, forget about the account.

No deal..... If you log on to the hotmail (or yahoo) service, the originating IP address goes with the email and you CAN be identified if they know how to do it.

He asked for no name, not no IP address. If he's willing to let them know his website......

OK, so sign up for it at the library, or on somebody else's "borrowed" wireless network.
