Google Page Rankings

When will they arrive?

I have been revamping my web site over the past couple of months. In the process I have renamed many of the pages. A few of the pages (the ones I did first) now show new, higher, rankings from Google. The rest remain unranked (although their predecessors were ranked).

Whilst the formats and filenames of the pages have changed the content remains broadly the same.

I assume from all this that the mysterious Google ranking process moves in cycles and whilst the first pages were in time to catch the end of a cycle the remainder are going to have to wait.

Does anyone know how long this might take?

It's anyone's guess. More importantly, since you can't affect it, I wouldn't worry about it. Just concentrate on making your site as good as it can be, and success will follow.

Well, you might be right. Most things in life are hedged about by uncertainties so why should Google's page ranking doings be any different? It would just have been nice to know.
