I've been reading many messages on ww and can't decide whether it is better to launch a website early and therefore get going with the SEs and build traffic or to wait until I have got everything I want online.

My site will never be 'finished' as I will always be adding to it.

But when would you recommended getting it online?

Are there any disadvantages to uploading when there are very few pages?

Is it better to wait til I have say 100 worthwhile article?

Your opinion are very much welcomed!

Rightz asked: ...when would you recommended getting it online?

To a large extent, that's going to depend on what you're intended to accomplish and what you're offering the user.

My site started years ago with relatively few pages. But I'd started with lessons covering topics that I happen to teach very effectively, so my site was "found" fairly quickly (for the time). At this point, my site is still fairly "small", with only four hundred or so pages, but I get about 13K visitors a day, and the site is paying for itself.

What is the purpose of your site? Who is your intended audience? Go "live" when you have enough content to start fulfilling your purpose and start satisfying the needs of your audience.

I would take the content you have, tidy it up, and go online right now.
By all means don't stop there of course, but get it online.
Then, build it up as fast as you can put the materials and content together. -Larry

Its a travel site - so info on a particular country. Hotels, guides, attivities, info for moving, visiting etc.

So the site I'm creating has quite a few topics that I haven't completed yet.

I don't want people to come to a site lacking in info and never come back. Although I suppose if I have general info and a few indepth articles that may be a start.

Also do people start adsense as soon as they get their site online or wait til they have the traffic to prove they are worthy!?
