Hi, I got a few domains to host but I don`t need nothing in particular, just no ads if possible.

Any advice?

Cheers

how can hosting, which costs money, server, bandwidth, server administration, etc, be good if it can't generate any money to pay the bills? The best you can hope for is mediocre free hosting.

But why bother, you can get hosting, which is ok, for about $3 a month. it's not great hosting, of course, they will be piling thousands of sites on each box, but it's cheap, and more or less works, as long as you aren't trying to run a db generated site, forums, blogs, cms etc.

The best place I know to find out about junk cheap hosting is black hat seo forums, they are always looking to cut costs to the bone.

Keep in mind, TOS does not allow referring to any hosting company.

However, there are other options out there, you could drop your hosting fees to about $2-3 per site if you find a good hoster that allows multiple sites hosted per account. Then you get good hosting, and per site it's cheap. If you have clients you can host their sites on the account, and then piggyback yours ontop of them, heh heh... which would give you free hosting.

If you want to just offer ultra basic stuff, look into getting a good hosting account, that supports adding domains, real domains, not those fake methods you see all the time, putting pages in frames etc.

this is relatively cheap, and if you were hosting say 10 domains on an account like this, all simple, low resource, it would cost you only about $2.50 per domain per month. If you hosted 20, it would be about $1.75 per domain per month. And that's not junk hosting, it's high end. Charge the customer $30-60 a year for this hosting, and you're ready to go. Any customer that won't pay that little to host a site is not worth dealing with.
