I'm creating a template in fireworks. I have borders on the left and right sides. Can someone tell me how to get the border size to adjust to the text that's inserted, the length that is. Currently, when I insert text that exceeds the lenght of the template, you can a lot of gaps.

I downloaded a template but I can't seem to figure out how it was done.

Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure I understand? However, insert a table at 100% and create padding (5px) on both sides. The table at 100% or 90% centerd will adjust. Keep in mind, I'm not always a fan of % over pixels. At least with px you can see the height and width.

I hope this is the answer to the vague question? :)

Ok. Let me see if I can be somewhat clearer.

When you create a template in Fireworks, it gives you the option to insert a HTML slice. When I export the template and insert text in that area, if the text exceeds the lenght of the template, it leaves a gap on the sides.

I've downloaded a template from the link below and inserted text in it - yet the sides adjust accordingly. I just wanted to know if there is something I needed to do prior to exporting the template to prevent this.
