I want to swith my adsl internet connection to cable.
A new ISP offered a better price and service but don't wanna switch immediatly, because I want to see if they are as good as seems.

Is it possible to have both ISP for a while?
I have win xp and guess cable connection uses an usb port and a router...

If it's possible, then you'd probably have to disable one connection whilst using the other. In XP this can be done from the "Network Connections" subfolder of the Control Panel (right-click the connection).

NOTE: I'm not saying it is or is not possible - I'm just suggesting one method that might make it possible.

Kaled.

Check symantec, I'm pretty sure they have a hard firewall that allows you to have 2 inbound wan/broadband connections.
