server is good for hosting or banned from google or not good for SEO activities
No one can answer that with any great certainty. All we can do is look at it logically from an SE perspective.
As far as we know servers do not get banned, domains do.
If a virtual server is hosting multiple banned domains on the same IP address then certainly that has the potential to be a big red "no quality over here" flag to a search engine.
On the other side of the coin, lots of people are on virtual severs so there's a risk of taking out some innocents if SE's did take that view.
If you're on a dedicated server, or have a dedicated IP on a virtual server, there shouldn't be an issue. IP addresses get recycled, it's almost inconceivable that any right-minded SE would maintain a list of known "bad blocks".
how can i check
On a virtual server, do a reverse IP lookup to see how many domains are hosted there. You'll then need to visit each one and take a view.
If paranoia is really settling in, ensure you have a dedicated IP address with your host and double-check no other domains are hosted on it.
