Get a site unlisted in Alexa rankings

Hi
I have a site and I saw that it is ranked by Alexa. Alexa shows information about my site like traffic details. However, I do not want to see my site in the rankings list of Alexa. This ranking thing started to become a problem, because I saw some people comparing the rankings of their sites with my site. I do not want them to know such an information. How can I get my site unlisted in Alexa? I checked their site, but I couldn't find information. I sent a message to Alexa and asked how to remove my site, but they did not reply. Can anybody tell me how to do it?

If you don't want your personal profile information listed in Alexa, you can fill out the appropriate form and they wiill remove it, or update it.

As far as your site listing goes, you may be able to restrict Alexa's spider which I think crawls your site for archive.org stats. You may be able to accomplish this by modifying your "robots.txt" file and disallowing the Alexa spider.

But Alexa's SERP's are based on Google, and you certainly don't want to restrict that!
