Transfer from Outlook Express to Outlook

I am with BT Broadband for both personal e-mails and my website domain e-mails. I use Outlook Express, which is pretty basic, I really need to be using Outlook particularly as I would be able to take advantage of the Calendar (payment dates etc).

I contacted BT and they said that although I should be able to use Outlook, they cannot tell me how to do so as their technical support team only advise about Outlook Express.

Can anyone please tell a quick and simple way for me to transfer all my existing e-mails, folders and settings from Outlook Express to Outlook. Step by step instructions would be most helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome on Webmaster world

If I remember correctly
just setup a new account in Outloook
using the same outgoing, ingcoming, username and passowrd as for Express
make it your default
then it should ask if you wish to import your existing
data
or it might do it by itself
anyway it will be an easy straight forward move.
