If you have site that is dynamic, is there a way to mask or hide or somehow change the cgi bin reference so the site and pages will be indexed? If so how?

Do a site search for Mod_rewrite. I think that is what you are wanting.

Knowles, thats what I was looking for! It is soooo over my head though! Does this have any negative effect on the SE's if done? Thanks again for the info.

Errr I dont beleive it does I actually think it helps it they seem to like .html better than .cgi?blah&blah. Give it a min and I am sure one of the many SEOs will come around and clear it up for sure.

hello sadierae,

if you use modrewrite to hide the cgi-bin, in my experience, is better for se's. The bigger problem is if you have the long query strings after the page name. If you can cut it all down to a directory and page looking url, all the better.
