Is this a virus?

php files automatically created

all folders on my hosting have 2 automatically created php files with random names ...and whenever someone goes to few pages an application is trying to download itself on system..so i guess its a virus..but my own PC is clean and everything seems to be alright ...problem is only with the folders on remote server..so i guess virus is on my hosting providers side not mine?

please help me out

Do you mean when someone goes to the php pages it tries to download them?
This will happen if php is not setup right with your host.

ferhanz, it sounds like your hoster has been hacked, and something is trying to download malware to visitors. Unless you are confusing a php error. I've seen that error in the past. But if an actual application is being downloaded, not just the php page itself, your website has been hacked and is attempting to install malware onto I assume MSIE. Does this happen when you visit the site with firefox or opera?
