I've been getting great traffic for one of my pages, but a friend keeps telling me I have to change it, problem is, I don't want to loose my ranking, or google PR. I don't want to make any drastic changes that would effect my income. <snip> Anyone have any ideas for me?

What do you mean by changes? Page name changes, title changes?
Why would you think changing a page is spam?

Read the message again, I wanted a 2nd opinion. A friend keeps insisting I change my page asap, I however am reluctant being I get a lot of income from said page. He says I risk being banned.

Even for a "second opinion," physics's questions really need to be answered; your message is very unclear. What kind of change does your friend think you should make? Or, to put it another way, what are you doing now that your friend thinks is a problem?

I have to change it

I read it (in fact I even edited it) and all you said is that you might change it, you didn't specify how. No one can help you with your question if you don't describe how you are thinking about changing the page.
