I've been getting several site accesses from this & I have no idea what it is? I pasted in my browser, but it does not go to any page? I traced it like an ip & got nothing?
Perhaps someone is developing something locally on their system?

developing something? You mean they could be stealing my content? I've gotten several accesses from it the last 2 days & also In the browsers section of my stats it shows webcopier & yahoo slurp? Does this mean someone is downloading & copying my entire site?

Tribe, that URL looks like a statistics server. Meaning, a server setup to gathering website/page hit stats.
Do you have a statistics program setup?

Yes, i have stats but they are not accessible to anyone without a login & pass to the cpanel.
Is this string able to get my stats & bring them back to the user requesting them?

I can't verify if that is true.
All ask some of my genius co-workers and see if anyone knows anything. If I come up with some info, I'll let you know.

Most of the guys I've talked to say it's nothing to worry about, unless you're seeing specific trouble on your machine.
It's just an HTTP server on a private address (LAN only) directed at port 82.
