Found this very surprising, considering how big the site is, but this is new to me, went to check some exchange rates, then i get told that my browser is old, and get given the >here are links to latest browsers for you to download NN and IE< blurb.

whats up their, they got something against opera, they did'nt have the last time i checked !

You can always change the ID via quick preferences (I find I have to do that for a couple of silly sites).

thats all it was, it was identyfing itself as opera, change to IE5, no probs, but switched it back to opera, won't use the site again until they sort out their problem.

Take a look at the link mentioned in the beginning of this article: [webstandards.org...]

It is the same situation, a sniffer script that fails to identify Opera and redirects to a "Upgrade to IE4 or NN4" page.

Where tha Webmastas at? Sheeesh!
