Hi all.

I'm creating a webpage for a client. He insist that i put a floating bar at the bottom of the page with his name and company name. And when you scroll the page the bar has to stay vissable. I don't like such bar's at all and dont know how to create one.

I did make a htm page with the name and company name and i think i have to work with a frameset but i dont really know. Does anybody know what i mean and maybe know where i can find it or what code i need to use.

Many thanks in advance!

Cheers.

Using frames is the only realistic, cross-browser way: you have a top frame with your usual content and a non-scrollable bottom frame in which you put the company name. Frames are problematic for accessibility and usability reasons, but if the client insists...

Okay, thx! Just run into another problem. I'm using Joomla. The page is in php. Now i don't know how to edit the page code.

Gues i have to look for a component of module for joomla/mambo. Or maybe i suggest to use the statusbar of IE to show a marquee like text.

If there are any other suggestions, they are more than welcome :-)
