Hi folks,

I've been using Ryan Parman's javascript "IMAGEPOP 1.2" (<snip>) on my <snip> site. but some people have told me that they can't tell if the images are loading or not and that it stays as a white box in the top-left corner of the screen with nothing happening in some cases.

and recently with firefox 1.5 its seems a bit buggy for some reason. sometimes the images appear most times not (which isn't good as I'm looking for work and sending out the link)

is there an alterative to the javascript way to get these? (NOT flash)

- Image loading notice (preferably in the same window)
- automaticly center/center image on screen at its full size

any advice, links, samples of what you consider a good popup system would be excellent guys.

thanks in advance, :)

I'm one of the growing multitude that uses a browser with built-in Pop-up and Advert Blockers - so if you have any banners of pop-up images on your site I wouldn't see them anyway...
