Where do I get a valid list of drop shippers?

I have a product based website that I would like to use drop ship companies for. I have looked at drop ship articles on Entrapenure mag and searched for "drop ship wholesale" on google and all I find are places where the prices are jacked up IE I dont have a 3x markup range like all product you get from the manufacturer. Or they are just wholesale wherehouses open to the public. I am looking for true wholesalers that drop ship or manufacturers. wholesalers that actually ask for your busness licence and EIN number to purchase anything. I dont want to BUY a list either there has to be a way to get this information.

I have been wondering this also. It seems the only "true" lists are ones you have to pay for.

The only alternative I have found thus far is doing a search for a certain product.

Example: do a search for wholesale pewter widgets

Now, you see a few sites that have products you are highly interested in but you only see them stating they do wholesale. Email them or call them. Many do drop ship, but just don't mention it on their sites. I have found a few this way for the products I want to carry on my site but drop ship only.

I agree that it's nice to not pay for information but with a list like a drop shipper list you have to realize that it takes time to compile and keep up to date a list of drop shippers that aren't con artists. By the same token you have to be careful that you find a list that itself is reputable. There are a couple of compaines that are "eBay Certified Solutions Providers", you can find them here:
