Cheap web hosting worth it?

or do most of them have hidden charges? i have my main sites with reliable web hosting services and of course pay more money, but i want some smaller not so important side domains to link them together.

I cant believe you would only pay 1 cent per month thats sily . i pay about $35 per month and i have nothing big.

Sounds like a gimmick.

I pay $5/month and get good service and great up-time, but only one domain is allowed per account. So if someone wants to host a number of sites with the company, they usually get a reseller account. I'm sure they make most of their money from that. How does your one-cent outfit support itself? That's probably where you'll find your answer on hidden costs.
