Anyway to alter this?

Hey all. I recently purchased some hosting from dreamhost. All's going really well, I was just wondering one thing.

Is there any easy way to adjust the time/timezone settings of the server? By .htaccess or anything? It's just obviously the server is hosted in the US and all the times are PDT. But I want it to be BST for where I live (so my blog posts are the correct local time)

If there isn't an easy way. Should I just write all my PHP code with a time offset? Is there any way to set up the mySQL database to automatically consider/add an offset.

Thanks!

Being on Dreamhost myself AND residing in the Pacific time zone I never really noticed, but your blog software should have an offset built in; my Wordpress does.

Ahh, I'm writing my own blogging engine from scratch :P so that's not an option. If wordpress wrote their own offset in, I'm guessing I'll have too.

No worries. Was just wondering if there was an easy route :)
