Software must haves

I am trying to complie a list of the "must have" software programs to do a good job at SEO and proper reporting. So far I have Webposition 4 and we use word tracker and various free tools. I am interested in knowing what the members feel are the can't-do-without packages so I can be sure to add them to our selection. Something for link building? site map generation? other areas?

also, are there any good email programs other than Constant Contact that won't get blocked or have their own advertising all over the email?

I haven't had much luck with Web Position or for that matter any softare for SEO.

I think you should just see what attributes the top 10 websites have in your search on google and look at the source code and build your website accordingly.

One thing that I do know is very important is the page title.

I have many first page results for search terms with a million or more results in the match.

This is not a software but a online service for tracking keywords on G and Y. It works great and very useful for tracking your position. Can give URL but name is #*$!.
