Huge decline on all the links posted from 25th september

New facebook algorithm from 25.9.2024

Hello, we are seeing huge decline from 25th of september on all the links posted on facebook.

Seems like there has been a change (or a test?) of new algorithm because its affecting almost everyone in central europe.

My personal news feed is very different too, as I am seeing posts from the pages in random languages and about topics I never interacted with.

Is there anyone else with the same observation?

that is very interesting because I see exactly the same.
On Sep 25th my link posts reach fell off a cliff. My image and text posts seem to be unaffected. Someone mentioned to me there could be a shadow ban on my domain.
Don't know how to find if that is the case. My domain and FB page is in german. Where are you located?

Hello Krissy,

seems like from today, the links are back, the recommendation algorithm started showing them on news feed again.

From my information all the links (on whole facebook) posted from 25.9 to 3.10 got restricted for some reason.

We are located in central europe.

The links are gone again from this afternoon

edit: and back again after 5 hours, it really seems that facebook is testing something

How can you tell that so precisely?

Down again on all the links posted from 12.11, seems that only a few pages with blue checkmark are getting their links recommeded, not sure why

do you experience any uptrend in link posts again?
For me unfortunately not. Just investigating how to move all my posts from link post to an image post. But the CTR is so extremely low.
