A lawsuit claiming that Meta employees took bribes to kill traffic to competitors of OnlyFans, an adult entertainment website, will move ahead after a federal judge deemed the claims plausible.

Another suit related to the issue has now gained class action status against Meta.

It seems some Meta employees were taking bribes to have individuals blacklisted from Meta and Instagram, labeled as "terrorists" if they worked for competitors of OnlyFans.

While head scratching, if true, it begs the question - Who else is no longer able to post on Instagram because of something like this? The suits are moving to discovery, wire transfer payments and emails directly to Meta employees are already included in the suit, linked from the news article.

“These claims are completely false and lack a shred of evidence to back them up. We’re confident we’ll win this case,” a Meta spokesperson said.

Oh! My! Did this actually happen?

We'll have to wait and see what is presented to the federal judge. That should be truth enough. Right?

Right?

(Not holding breath on this one.)
