I hadn't noticed this before, but it appears it's now possible to save content for later on Facebook. "Now you can save things on Facebook for later."
Saved Collections allow users to group saved items into collections to curate and come back to them later. For example:
  • Funny videos
  • Recipes
  • Articles to read later
  • Restaurants to try

    Save Things for Later
Save links, videos, places and more. Only you can see the things you save until you choose to share them.
    Saving Things
To save, open the menu on a post and choose Save.
    Finding Things You've Saved
After you save things, click Saved in your Favorites to see them.

Yes, I also recently came across this feature of saving videos or posts for later and I think it's amazing. Now, we don't have to scroll or browse through several pages to find that one video. It's actually useful. As far as scheduling the posts are concerned, many marketers use this feature to ensure regular posts about their products online. Especially when you have to post according to different time zone of another country.

Mod note: Just to make it 100% clear, this thread is nothing to do with post scheduling.
This thread is about saving content.

I've tried an experiment with content saving and have yet to establish the marketing value. I suspect this may be a longer term project.
