There are no free advertising options on Facebook. They work very hard to ensure that if you are trying to benefit without using their tools you will have limited visibility. People can try, but it is generally many hours of (months) of wasted effort for disappointing results.
It is social media so you can meet people and try to convince one at a time. They may be there for the same reason though. ;)

The best free promotion remains word of mouth.
So where you deliver an excellent offering and your customer goes on to recommend you to their contacts where relevant.
WoM works online as well as offline and you might be able to encourage your clients to do it for you perhaps with offers, but the best WoM recommendations are free and wholly genuine.
