Hi guys, first off I want to hi to everyone here. I stumbled on this forum while looking for help on my Facebook business page.

I just started my business page, filled out the "About" section but I noticed that it is not visible on the main page. Is there an option somewhere to enable/show it?

<snip>

Thank you for anyone who would be able to help :)

I would think twice about exposing your business to Facebook.

There is nothing free on Facebook. Facebook is a pay to play ecosystem. If you make a post on Facebook it will not be seen by anyone, except for maybe your "friends" or your customers that liked you. If you want grow your customer base you need to pay. So if you want more exposure you need either more "friends" or to pay more.

Now the real problem.
When you let Facebook know which users are your clients, Facebook records that information and uses it to sell to your competitors, (and back to you too). In a company the most valuable asset is your client list, it must be cared for and kept secret. By using Facebook you are feeding them your client list on a silver platter. Once they have that information you will no longer have a choice as to whether to advertise or not with them, because if you are not advertising to your clients your competitor will be.

Also, you do not own the content on Facebook. "Your" page is not actually your page.

I recommend that build yourself and maintain a simple and good quality website. Create yourself a very basic Facebook page with the basic information and with a link back to "your" website and be sure to interact as little as possible with your customers on Facebook.
