We all know that Facebook is a voracious tracker your online moves, and specifically, as it's called, off-Facebook activity. At last it's started rolling out its clear history option, but only in Ireland, South Korea and Spain.

It'll be interesting to see the reaction from users on those countries when they see how much tracking Facebook is doing.

One other thing, I find it quite poor that users cannot opt out of this tracking in the first place. The onus is with the user to keep clearing their history. Methinks this'll become a daily chore when it eventually rolls out into other regions.

When it comes to the internet, people are lazy (and/or ignorant). No matter how much news there is about websites gathering data or how many databases are hacked, seems as if the majority just go about using the internet as if nothing bad happens. Sadly, it is like so many other things. A breach happens, everyone gets riled up, and two weeks latter it is forgotten.
