It's Facebook's turn to be called out for using outside contractors to transcribe Messenger Chats.

According to Bloomberg, Facebook has no stopped using external contractors, bit only when it seems it was brought to their attention.
On Wednesday, the Irish Data Protection Commission, which takes the lead in overseeing Facebook in Europe, said it was examining the activity for possible violations of the EUís strict privacy rules.

Oh goody! Others are now privy to the info!

Somebody in FB security practices needs to be handed a pink slip.

When will people realize/learn that a) your information is never private and b) you cannot trust the majority of companies with it.

Free and shiny objects are hard to resist. After all, most folks take the path of least insitance, er, resistance!

Or ... the tech folks have worked extra hard to make things look bright and shiny and easy.

This is nothing new ... comes around every few generations like Toynbee's Pendulum.
