There's been a bug in Facebook Messenger for kids, which has subsequently been fixed, whereby someone can log into a chat and they shouldn't be there. [bbc.co.uk...]
I'm wondering if there's a similar flaw in Messenger.

I thought FB Messenger was dead. Apparently NOT!
Never had much use for it (too noisy) and killed off my FB association a year or so back. Even then, had dropped Messenger before that happened.

I don't know where you got the idea it was dead. Nope, it's thriving.
I'm a little concerned about the possibility of a similiar bug in there.
