Sorry if there's a more appropriate forum for this, I looked but didn't see anything.

Am I correct that FAN is for me to put Facebook ads on my website? The description read like that, but the "Start" section implies that I'm going to be posting an ad on Facebook instead:

[business.facebook.com...]

So assuming that I'm right, how do you think the money from it compares with Adsense? Considering that I've heard very little about it I'm assuming that the answer is "not great", but I also worry that advertisers are splitting their budget between Google and social media, so having both on the same page might get the best of both worlds.

You must be invited by a Facebook representative to enter the FAN.

Maybe someone here has already been invited and he can tell us how it works.

Some info on how to set it up (it doesn't say anything about an invitation, so maybe they dropped that? It's still complicated, though):

As of 2017, though, FAN paid a fraction of what Adsense paid... like maybe 10%:

I'm still tempted to go through the steps in the first article and see if I can figure it out, since mobile is virtually worthless for me these days.
