URL on Facebook Page

Why the URL I put on my facebook page are not counted by Google as a link?

UGC = User Generated Content. Not really a recommendation given freely so much as graffiti. Any link can bring traffic to your site, but not all links have value.

Because of rel=nofollow [support.google.com] (specifically "Untrusted content").
