Facebook will not allow Facebook Communities to be bought and sold, although, it's not really clear in the community standards of Facebook. It says it falls under the spam classification, which seems a little odd.

I would expect Facebook to create a new category to cover this particular activity.

FB already claims copyright to whatever is posted on their "platform", they are not about to let any part of it be "bought and sold".

The "spam" comment is a red herring.

Deeper into their TOS (and it is a muddled mess) any use of their platform is under their control ... which kind of makes Section 230 an absurdity of abuse (but that is a different story and probably not germane to WW discussions, other than caveat emptor.) If one buys into playing with FB, you do so by their rules.

Meanwhile I continue to be amazed that anyone who wants control of their own work/product even plays there. Then again, I am old school and I mean OLD in the sense I was doing business and copyright and trademark long before Zuck and crew were born and even during the decade + I was "on fb" I never gave them anything. It really was, for a time, family and friends for me ... until the noise became incredible and the emperor's new clothes security and protection of user data became obvious.

Just saying: What's yours it there, and what's theirs is theirs and no bones about it.

Should read "What's yours is theirs, and what's theirs is theirs and no bones about it." Sorry for the typo!
