A personality test app for Facebook, myPersonality, appears to have used weak security provisions for as much as four years, potentially exposing the data of the 3 million people that took the quiz.
The data was highly sensitive, revealing personal details of Facebook users, such as the results of psychological tests. It was meant to be stored and shared anonymously, however such poor precautions were taken that deanonymising would not be hard.

I'm not one of the 3m users. Never used any of the FB sanctioned apps luckily. I won't even use Messenger no matter how many times FB tries to shove it down my device.

I know FB has been very media savy with their app review process lately. However I wonder how much is damage control and how much is a valid concern for user privacy, after all their business model is based on user exploitation.
