From an advertising/marketing aspect on FB:

Poll: 77 Percent Believe Traditional Media Guilty of Fake News [

Observations of FB's "new" news bias toward "trusted sources" (ie, not YOU) and the second is article regarding recent poll showing 77% believe "trusted news" is fake news.
While some will look at the source above with skepticism (due to ideological bias), there is no doubt that FBs new algo has changed the landscape and innocent folks are getting caught by FBs new filters.
What is MORE concerning is FB is now acting like a publisher and may lose protections under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act and may end up being regulated like all those "trusted sources" -- which are ALL PUBLISHERS.
The last two administrations used FB for their purposes, to great effect, and no problems. A Change in administration suddenly discovers how horrible all this is and crackdowns are required. Instead of staying neutral FB has shown a willing bias and that's not a good thing for ALL involved.
The handwriting is on the wall: there will be niches of web experience you are no longer allowed to play in. There will be instances when content alone will get you demoted (or shadow banned), thus impeding entrepreneurs. These should be great concerns to all, regardless of ideology.
What we do know, since MZ stated it was up to him to control the content and FB began their new "trusted sources" filtering, many (mostly on the right) have suffered tremendous exposure and traffic losses.
Should this hostile environment to IDEAS continues, there is no doubt that the government will get involved and, as we all know, when the government comes to give a helping hand, WE ALL LOSE.
Beware what you ask for, you just might get it!
