Facebook's Q2, 2017 show the company has strong growth in revenues, up 47% year on year, to $9.164 billion, and net incom up 71% year on year to $3.894 billion.

Still, FB seems to display less ads than a great many sites I visit nowadays.

Most of the mobile ad revenue must come from the iOS & Androud FB apps, and probably Messenger.

I only connect through my mobile browser and don't see too many ads.

That's a lot of income for a quarter... and a lot of people were thinking they weren't gonna pull it off.

Facebook's key is the huge number of users, in addition to the great detail on them for targeting. Less wasted Dollars, I assume.

I'm glad i don't see too many ads as that would make the site off-putting. In addition, i've resisted going mobile, especially with Messenger.

Likewise, I neither use the FB app nor Messesnger... despite their constant nagging.
