Can Facebook work for advertising

HI Guys

I have tried Facebook advertising on numerous occasions, and i always get a good response to ads, If i boost an ad i always get a good response the last post was 22259 reached 1172 post engagements but just not selling, I was speaking to a guy who works for a competitor and he sells 40+ so i pretty much copied his ad without being too obvious but still not good for selling

Our company leases cars so the audience is not as big as others, but still I am struggling to make this pay, it is possible he could be well off with his figures but still i know from our suppliers they sell a lot more cars than I do

I have targeted the ads as much as possible,

Is there a secret to making this work, does anyone with experience in this niche know what else i can do, on the trials i have spent £100 per day, i can increase this to any amount as long as i see a return

I have a company which targeted audience is the people know need car insurance. From my facebook ad strategy I need to reach them and make sure that my insurance policy get sold . When I was starting to boost my facebook ad, I see no return from these advertise. Only I get some website click, Which I don't even need. I need sells. So , I improvised my ad and started to invest little amount. not big amount like $100 . I started to invest $1 or $2 per day. And If I see no sells from there I don't get into any lose. But If I get sells from there , that's leaves me a huge profit..

My strategy is to show people that my services is selling and secure, Sometimes I hire people to get clicked on my sales page which leaves the other people giving a look or thought on my service. This works for me actually. I can't guaranty that will also work for you. But people usually loves to buy the thing most people buy. Make sure they see the sales. that will help you to grow more sales.
