I spend around 9k a month. I was wondering if anyone on here has an ad rep and how they were able to get one. Did facebook contact you or did you contact facebook?

Also what is the dollar amount you need to spend to get an ad rep? I have heard a rumor it was 10k a month.

I don't spend that kind of money, so I wouldn't expect any support. I also understand that "they contact you."

Did you get any luck through here? [facebook.com...]

It's a spend of $10K or more for 3-4 consecutive months. At least that's what it was for me. Ad Rep basically just calls to try and "upsell" you all the time. I don't think there's been an instance when having a rep has helped me in the last 9+ months.

I have tried through the form. But I generally get replies that don't really respond to the question.

That makes sense on the 3-4 months. I ended up over 10k this month. So I guess if I hit that a few more months I might get a call. I figure having a rep might not help but I figure it probably won't hurt.

Sorry for the silly question..I'm new on the subject
what is ad rep ? and does it worth this amount of money ?

I know a bit about paid media and never heard of it.

thanks in advance.

Welcome MrPRinson to the forum!
ad rep = A sales representative of Facebook. From the advertiser point of view ad reps should help solving problems. From Facebook point of view they should upsell or entice advertisers to spend more money, try out new features. Since employing ad reps costs a lot of money, company focus them on big spenders. The guess here seems to be: Spending more than $ 10.000 per month for some time may cause an Ad Rep to call the advertiser on phone.

Ad rep=Insidious Voice Urging More Spend! (and a few more ! as well!)

I've worked with a few (on tech issues for clients) and each seemed rather lightweight in knowledge or customer empathy. Was not impressed.

That does not mean there aren't impressive ad reps, just that I've never heard "impressive" and "facebook ad rep" used in the same sentence.
