Adding Budget Doesn't Increase Reach For Boosted Post

Hey everyone:

Last week I boosted a post on facebook (from my business page) and I am having problems increasing the reach.

I have added to my budget since last Thursday, but it doesn't seem to have increased the number of people it has reached.

Under my post right now, it says:

Add Budget to Reach More People (and it says I have $14.38 left in my budget)

If I click on that, it opens up a window and it says:

Paid Reach 105 and the Budget Spent was only $3.62

Adding this budget ($5) will increase your reach to an estimated 140 - 370 people.

But I have added that budge already (as I mentioned, my current budget for that post is $14.38), but the number of people reached since last Thursday hasn't increased.

Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

The cause of this is low engagement rate of your publication. As Facebook cares about the quality of content and their audience's preferences, they won't show low-engaging posts to the wide audience not to disappoint audience.
Try to make interesting post and then promote it and you'll get better results.
