sudden spike in unlikes?

Looking at my insights, the amount of dislikes on my page increased dramatically since Feb 22nd. Has anyone seen this?

My page is an entertainment page, content is mostly pictures. I have over a million followers on the page and the dislikes never outnumbered the likes (net likes being in the positive) until recently.

I know Facebook implemented some changes but this is baffling me.

Ouch! In rhe entertainment world, however, it takes just a second for like to change to unlike. Sometimes bad performance, sometimes politics, sometimes bad review, sometimes delusional behavior... who can tell?

It just might be the content that is not liked, not you. :)_

You've probably posted something "offensive" to a minority fan group. You know how Bieber, One Direction, and Kardashian fans get all defensive when you point out something negative about their idols, even if you're just acting like a messenger.

I recently read an article that FB is cracking down on spammy and fraudulent accounts, given that certain websites actually "sell" page likes and followers. It may be why your site's "unlikes" (not dislikes) is increasing.
