This seems to be a recent problem. When I post a link to my website on my facebook page status update, no image is pulled from the page. It will pull an image from a blog post and from other sites, but not from my site. I have already gone through the steps of clearing the fb cache.

Sorry for the basic question, but is the image hosted on your site or another site?

The image is hosted on my site. The problem is not with all pages, only updated pages. I should be able to refresh FB cache but can't.

Debug info and a raw presentation of what facebook sees is here [developers.facebook.com...]

Although not implicitly stated it is the recognized way 'to clear the facebook cache' when you update graphics.

One error message often seen there is obviously off a bit about image size. It states images should be 220px or larger. That's a few revisions old - it needs to be 1024px minimum or facebook will pick the largest image on the page (when you had specified another image as the default).

Thanks. After much trial and error with the Object Debugger I've come to the unhappy conclusion that FB will only pull an image from URLs in the root folder and will pull nothing but a Google Plus button from any page buried deeper. If there is a way around this other than manually putting OG tags on each page I would sure like to know about it.
