Facebook likes go to 1

sharing the page changed like number

One of the site's pages has already been shared on the net, and it had 40-ish likes, not sure about exact number.
Anyway, I have shared the page via an FB Page, and after that the likes number reported on the actual page went to 1. I tried with switching the browsers, clearing the history (cookies, cache), but it's 1.

I wonder what could cause such behavior. Other pages do not seem to be affected.

Sometimes that happened. How did you get the likes?

If the likes are bought, they might get disappeared
