Looks like you can use the site: operator to search FB from Google.

I've tried this half a dozen times over the past year and accidentally discovered it was working last night and confirmed it this am.

Not sure what this means, other than this is a fairly big change at a strategic, technical and marketing levels sort of unheard of before.

Has anyone tracked any public announcements about this?

Original poster says this is new, you say 'no'. Who's right?
Whether this is, in fact, new, is actually a pretty important question, as it would imply a strategic agreement between FB & Google.
