http://www.dailydot.com/news/facebook-home-reviews-fail-android/ [dailydot.com]

Almost half of all reviewers gave Facebook Home a 1-star rating

The reviews are in. Facebook home is a bona fide failure.

The company's Android-based integration software became available for download at the Google Play store on Friday, and the negative reviews came pouring in immediately.

As of this writing, Facebook Home has an average rating of 2.4 stars (out of 5). Of the 3,850 total reviews, 1,817—roughly 47 percent—gave it 1-star rating.

So is Facebook Home already a failure, or are the annoyed people just more vocal?

That's a tiny proportion, and probably the early adopters expecting more from their FB Home fix.

I'd give it a little more time for a more accurate assessment. I don't plan to use it.

It's not a large number of users, but recent studies have shown that people rely heavily on reviews when deciding whether to get something from an app store. If the consensus is this negative then it may dissuade more users..who will never try the app or post a rating in the app store.
