Facebook overtakes Google!

I just noticed on Alexa.com that for the first time in the 3 years I have been looking that Facebook is now number 1 and Google number 2.

Google was always number !
Never mind the share price!

Must have been that new Fan page I set up!

I wonder if it's due to an increase of traffic to facebook or a degrease (sic) to google.

Facebook overtakes Google on having dumb users that install Alexa spyware!

Sadly, Facebook isn't anywhere close to overtaking Google on things that matter, like making money and good PR.

And if you took away the Google hits from people like me that sometimes use it as a quick way to get to some of their favorite sites (I find it easier than going to my browsers bookmarks) Google would have even less hits.

Just watched a Zuckerberg interview, he made it pretty clear they are working on search. He claimed they are already doing a billion queries a day "without even trying".

Yes, Every person in the world use facebook from a long time and more time as comp-air to google.

Facebook been took over Google for Impressions. Just not all impression were tracked "Mobile App, API calls, etc". Facebook is the largest Traffic site in the world. 700 million real active user logged in almost all day, checking constantly.

People are constantly logged through mobile apps, desktop app, etc.

A ton of traffic, and all User Generated.

Compete and Quantcast also show Facebook as second or third to Google.
