Real money gambling comes to facebook (UK )

Developed by London-based online gambling operator Gamesys, the Bingo Friendzy app allows users aged 18 and over to play games for cash prizes.

Facebook said only its UK members would be able to view the app.

The website's largest gaming partner, Zynga, said it also planned to introduce real-money gambling versions of its games next year.

Zynga and a few other companies are already opperating in a slightly grey area. poker for example, you play with chips that are essentially free, but you can pay for more. I don't know why FB would want to be involved either directly or un-directly. There is potential for users to loose lots of money. They will blame FB not Zynga. Most users won't realise the 'app' isn't part of Facebook.
