Facebook Shares Fall Below $20 [blogs.wsj.com]
Facebook shares are down more than 4pct today, falling to as low as $19.91, and currently dancing around the $20 mark. A stock that briefly traded as high as $45 on its first day is less than half that now.

Is this catastophic drop tantamount to fraud of some kind?

I mean, that's tens of billions of dollars of people's money that's now in someone else's pocket and has effectively 'vanished'.

Yes, but difficult to prove. Hype and stupidity isn't technically fraud, but would like to hear more about how certain investors had inside information to bail out after day 1.

It extends beyond facebook. It's related to the players that share common board positions. It is very difficult to prove but I can assure you there is collusion going on underneath the table to control share prices -- in my humble opinion.

I can see how they are doing it and could even explain it but that's a can of worms I just don't want to open. But if you want clues read my post from just over a year ago [webmasterworld.com ]
