publish url or not?

Hi all

When I write a post on facebook linking to a story / blog / product, I write the story, then enter the link which brings up the linked post and a picture.

Now, should I keep the long URL at the end of the post or should I delete it (the linked post is there either way)?

I've been removing it, but not sure if this is a bad idea or whether there is a good reason to keep it or remove.

Please tell me what you do, and why?

I personally tend to remove it. It just makes it look cleaner.

Remove it. The way that interface behaves is utterly stupid. Trying to be too clever.
