Facebook Recommendations?

I was getting a lot of likes from recommendations.

I was getting more than double the amount of likes from the Facebook Recommendations unit than I was from my Facebook ad.

But now I'm getting nothing, I don't appear as a Recommended page anymore.

What determines who shows up and who doesn't?

The week before I cut my daily spend on ads by half, could that be it?

I don't know e rules around this exactly, but I also experienced something similar after I dropped the CPc for the Facebook ads I was running.
