cannot comment on own wall

Hi All need some help please.....I am managing a facebook page for a small brand and cannot for the life of me reply to comments.
Here is the scenario...someone makes a comment and i want to reply..so i login to the page as the brand and enter my reply in the comment box below the previous comment and hit enter...now it shows the comment i added with the brands icon...but as soon as i navigate away from the page and come back the comment is not there.....what am i missing...please help

Try it in a different browser. Facebook's on-page code is very flaky and relies on a ton of Ajax - and it doesn't all work in many browsers.

It "almost" works but there's always one feature that plays up. Which feature doesn't work varies from browser to browser.

i have tried different browsers and same outcome...i see the comment with the correct icon and then as soon as i navigate away..the comment disappears...any suggestions

could it be because it is not linked to a personal account...i did not open the page but i know the person who did does not have a personal account? so it was not linked to one...could this be the issue?
