I currently have a facebook page for my business. the URL is facebook.com/pages/mypage. I see many people use facebook.com/mypage so how can I convert the url to facebook.com/mypage instead of being facebook.com/pages/mypage
thanks

You need to go to your page and click "edit info" . Then select "Basic Information" and there should be an option there to "create a username for this page"

Are you sure the URL is just "facebook.com/pages/mypage"? i.e. not "facebook.com/pages/mypage/1234567890". The latter is the normal URL format in my experience. You can get facebook.com/mypage only after you have 25 or more Likes.

My page actually was facebook.com/pages/mypage/1234567890 - so yes, correct. After I changed my URL to facebook.com/mypage my page disappeared. Now it only shows "The page you requested was not found. You may have clicked an expired link or mistyped the address. Some web addresses are case sensitive."
Does someone know what's wrong? My whole page is gone now.

Have you tried using the link on [facebook.com...] to check everythings ok? It might just be a caching issue
