I got a online survey hosted in my website. I need to promote it and my survey should be taken up only by the desired targeted audience. Can anybody suggest what are all the promotion methods.

I'd look at Google Adwords, digging deep into their filters. But, depending on the subject, this could be expensive.
People are very distrustful of taking online surveys. The results are often not highly reliable.
